My daughter-in-law told me she saw costumes for toddlers selling for $60! What happened to Halloween?

We store food over the winter in a stand-up freezer in the garage, and in a fairly cool pantry. Any other ideas?

Our three grandkids have changed our lives. We'll see one this weekend, and another for Thanksgiving, maybe.

I, for one, am gonna miss this baseball season, when the World Series ends. Baseball, House and Law and Order are our television-watching staples.

How about you? I know we've got a few real fans out there.

I have to admit, I stole this idea outright from Switched at Birth, whose publisher set up a middle-of-the-night forum for insomniacs.  (Since I am one, I love the site!)

I'm hoping this will be a place where we can leave notes for each other about the little things in life, and still get a good night's sleep.
