Lights on trees at dusk on the shortest day of the year, lights on Christmas trees decorated by children, lights in the eyes of kids and lovers , and lights in the sky over Northampton on First Night, December 31. What a New Year’s Eve! We saw the Young at Heart Chorus (which you may recognize from a popular film/video), folk duo The Nields (regulars on Prairie Home Companion) and the amazing jazz vocalist Evelyn Harris, from Sweet Honey on the Rock.
